Configuration Information
Trench Shields (Panels)
- Steel or alloy construction
- Length: 3.6m - 6.8m
- Standard height: 1.2m (extendable to 2.4m with shield extensions)
- Depth: 2.4m
Corner Struts (Box Struts)
- Connect panels at 90° angles
- Create rigid four-sided box
- Increase stability in manhole and pit works
Configuration Notes
- Panels can be stacked for greater depth
- Configured with four panels + corner struts
- Extensions increase panel height from 1.2m to 2.4m
- Creates full enclosure for manholes and chambers
- Safer for deep pits and confined excavation sites
